Hello  everyone,

Please I'm trying to notarize DS11 form for my daughter and the notary at my bank here and USPS won't notarize the form.

My daughter was born in my home country so I'm trying to apply for CBRA and US passport for her. How can I go about it please.

Thank y'all.

Probably because DS11 doesn't need to be notarized. What's the reason behind you trying to notarize? I used DS11 form for my child this year and didn't notarize.

Thank you for your quick response, I won't be attending the interview for the CBRA in my home country and I already notarize form DS2029, DS5507 and DS 3053. So my question now is do I also need to notarize form DS11.

Thank you.

Ds11 doesn't need to be notarized.

I'm assuming your spouse will be actually applying for crba/passport in person at the consulate. So he/she will be signing the DS11 form in front of a  CO. So you can't sign the form and because of that nobody can notarize it for you.

Thank you.

The DS 3053 takes the place of you signing the application in front of the Consular officer.
