Which Eligibility Choice Is Faster?

My husband and I have been married for almost 8 years, so he qualifies for the “lawful permanent resident fort at least three years and married to a US Citizen” but also qualifies for “has been a lawful permanent resident for at least 5 years.” I’m wondering if anyone has insight on which he should choose and if it has any impact on how quickly the application will be approved?

He can apply for 5 years rule. Less evidence. 
It won’t impact much in terms of 3 years and 5 years in term of approval. It more depend on ur local field office
