Sent via USPS, wish I sent FedEx...

Hello,

I sent my entire AOS packet via USPS (United States Postal Service) RRR (Return Receipt Requested) however; the green card with a signature/stamp that shows Chicago received the packet has yet to arrive to my home. I went online to track the number and USPS says it was delivered. My position I have proof it was delivered but no proof it was received by USCIS Chicago @ 427 S. La Salle 3rd floor.

I do not want to get into an issue later with USCIS as to delivered/received debate about my sent packet when fee aka (Jack My Price Up!) goes in to effect on July 30 2007

Anyone feel I have nothing to worry about and I have enough proof as it stands?

Next time, FedEx.

When did you send the package? Your timeline lacks this info.

A few things, the receipt you got from the post office when you mailed the package has a post mark on it. As well as cashed check will prove receipt.

It took at least ten days for the check to get cashed in out case, and another 10 days for NOA1 letter in our case. The green receipt card showed up around the same time as NOA1 for us.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

You are right  cashing the check is absolute proof. I mailed the packet eleven days ago. If you knew the 3-year hassle it took to get the K-129 visa you would understand why I am so suspect of people dropping the ball.

I will get timeline updated

Thanks!

As long as you have confirmation that your AOS package has been delivered then i wouldnt worry too much about your green receipt card, it will eventually get back to you.

Like YuAndDan said, theirs showed up around the same time as their NOA, as did mine. It does tend to take anything from a few days to 2 weeks to get the green receipt card back.

Dont worry

Separated!!
