i-130 filed for Bringing Canadian born child to US

Can anyone tell answer to this 2 questions:

1) After form i-130 is approved an no other forms are filed (such as D260 & i-864). Can the beneficiary of that (approved) i-130 come to US from Canada on just a visit to see the parent for two weeks and go back to Canada.

2) If the beneficiary of an i-130 already has a US/Canada Nexus card, will it make a difference in the interview.

Thanks,

Sam

1. Not sure I understand why you think these forms won’t be filed - re I864, is the child under 18? Every immigrant needs a DS260. Sure they can try visit, entry is at the discretion of the CBP officer.

2. No.

1. Even if the DS-260 is filed, the beneficiary can attempt to visit.  AS stated above, it is at the discretion of the CBP officer and that officer may request proof of ties demonstrating strong ties to Canada.

2. No impact what so ever.

Thanks mam521

This is a valuable info/link. So far I was flying without a radar (in dark) this will shed some light specially for a beneficiary from Canada.

Keep up the good work

Also a big thanks to Susie QQQ you always come thru for me.
