Hi, I was just curious, the fingerprint fee was accepted 4/29/2021. Am I still another few years away from approval?

Hi Daniel, I am also applying for i601A.

Did you have your fingerprints taken at the biometrics appointment already? If Yes, then the next step is to wait for the approval. The current time frame for Nebraska service center is 26 months but I have seen some took around 24-28 months give or take. 
 

Since covid happened everything was super backlogged especially the 601A waivers and every cycle it keeps going backwards. But you know what all we can do is to be patient, our time will come one day.

Yes, fingerprints were taken in July 2021. I’m hoping for an approval by next spring but at this rate unsure if that’s possible.

If the pace stays the same then you should be expecting an approval next year April 2023-August 2023. It's from the receipt date. 
 

Let's hope they can catch up with the backlogs, I hope it will get better and shorter.
