:help: :help: Please help. My fiancée’s visa has a few stamps of her leaving and entering Vietnam during the time we first met? Would this be an issue? I don't want any red-flags. Here is my story, I am Vietnamese American. I came to America when I was 5 years old in 1980.

Live in NYC and grow up in the USA for over 28. I don't have any relative's in Vietnam, NOT that I know of.100% sure about that. I have no relative relationship what so ever with my fiancée. Anyway I went through a tough emotional divorce from May 07 to Dec07.I filed for divorce in sept 07; my lawyer settled the case on 3/6/07. I have my divorce papers stating that I am divorce and single. So I decided to visit Vietnam in January 07 with a friend. I met my fiancée in January very first time. It's a very complicated story on how we met. In my description on how we met I said we met in a cafe shop. I forget to put my friends name down. I left out a few details, does anyone see this to be a problem. I know that US embassy in Vietnam can be very strict when it comes down to look up K1 petition and interviews. Does anyone see this as a problem? I was confident when I sent in my packet but from reading about the blue-slip from other posted, I am beginning to worry. I love my fiancée very much and I want to be with her ASAP. My fiancée’s been through a lot of pain. Growing up in vietnam is a very tough place .Some people don’t know how good they have it compared to vietnam .I want to help her so we can be together. I want to do the right thing to have her by my side always. :help::help:

Your dates are confusing and don't really add up. You're talking about a divorce that you went through during months that have not yet occured. I'm sure this is a typo, but please recheck your post so that we may better help you.

How long was your visit in Vietnam with your SO? When she exited Vietnam during your visit, do you exit with her? Do you have the same exit stamps in your passport?

Yes, your question is cryptic at best. We'd like to help but really can't understand either your circumstances or your question. Just what is it you see as a problem?

I will tell you that a recent divorce CAN BE a problem but only if additional circumstances point to potential fraud.

Are you saying your fiancee's "passport" has a lot of stamps indicating international travel. Why do you see that as a problem? Where did she go? Was it during your visit?

I put a different day on the packet on how we met because at the time I realize I was trying to hid this, but I realized that I have nothing to hid and I'm just a little worry about it. I should have been straight forward to begin with. Pretty much everything else is true....

You have too many bits and pieces of information in different posts. It is very difficult to understand just what it is you are concerned about. I suggest you start again buy providing the story, the true one and how what you put in the petition is different from the truth. You also say, "pretty much all the rest is true".

Consular officers are trained to take the whole picture in to account in making their decision. One thing may not be a big issue on its own but a series of inconsistencies looks like fraud to them. VJ members are not allowed by the terms of service to advocate or visa fraud or assist you in attempting to accomplish fraud. If you'll tell us your story, we'll give you opinions on how to proceed.

If you give us questions peacemeal, you're likely to get the wrong answers because we don't know enough about your case to give the right ones.

I will tell you now that if you've made material misrepresentations of fact in your petition, you are better off to withdraw it and start over again with the truth. It is not clear just yet whether this advice applies to you.
