Interview schedule fast… bad or good sign?

Hello,

I came to U.S in 2017 under tourist visa and adjusted my status to student. Then in 2021 I got married with my husband (we’ve been together since 2018). We submitted our papers in September/21 and exactly in 6 months we received the NOA scheduling our interview on April 20th.

The total time will be 7 months between the papers and the final interview. We live in NYC so I thought would take more than 1 year for the interview be schedule since apparently the volume of the processes here are insane. (I have 2 friends here and both cases took more than 1year)

My husband has a great financial position but he was married with another foreigner (for 6y) before me and they had the case approved (she was under work visa).

We have tons of pictures with family and friends in different situations, a lot of trips together inside U.S, lease, health insurance… to prove that our relationship is real… but this early and unexpected interview is making me nervous.

Is there anybody who knows cases that had been scheduled in such short terms, specially in the cities where the volume are high like NYC? Is it a red flag or should I be happy?

thank y any help to calm my nerves!

I know that the field offices from NYC and Brooklyn have been very backlogged for quite some time and they started even waiving interviews for certain cases, maybe that just made the queue to happen faster than before. Yet every cases is different than the other one. I have even heard that age could be a factor.
My interview is coming up, mine took 12 months exactly, but a friend from PA 6 months. You really can't know.
