Doctor's appointment - Medical Exam

I still do not have interview date for Paris embassy.
Can I book and do the medical exam (in Lisbon) before I have that date?
Afraid the medical exam is done after the interview and delay process more...

visas expiration dates are 6 months from time of medical exam

u take the chance of needing a 2nd medical
