Hi guys , I just wanted to know . In the interview when the consular officer is asking for financial proof that I can support my family . Can I show them my properties in my country or is there a certain amount of money that needs to be shown to the consular officer regardless if I have properties or not.

As this a diversity visa  i don’t  know if normal rules about land assets being considered apply.   For family based petitions, real estate properties are weak evidence for asset based I-864 unless you have a professional appraisal and evidence they can be liquidated in less than year.  IMO, in some countries, especially under developed countries that ban or limit foreign ownership of land, it can take years to sell real estate.

If your properties are generating income that’s different.
