I posted the attached link regarding typos.

Context is that I did not get any responses whatsoever on typo requests when case was under case received.

On February 20, 2022 my file was updated to AR. That is about 5 months from filing and it tracks the pattern seen here and on FB for other Vermont files (AR after 5 months, approval after about 250 days).

Shortly after I got AR I posted another typo correction request.

This time they responded within two days and then I got AR2.

Feels to me like they corrected the typo and were on the file anyway so said "oh well we might as well review and approve".

Worth noting that I filed online and transferred to Vermont the next day. However, the referral number for typo inquiries and an expedite request ended with NSC

The referral number for the typo I requested after AR1 ended with VSC

Does anyone know how to do that quote box for other threads? Wanted to do so and it just shows up as a link..

You click on the "share post" symbol next to "report post"  copy the URL then paste it into the new thread.

LIKE SO. But, your setting might not allow for automatic embedding as it shows up as a box if I copy/paste either way...

How did you contact USCIS? Through e-mail or through the chatbot?

I suppose if you don't have a reason to request typo correction this hack might not be helpful.

Yeah that's what I did, but I did it from my phone so perhaps that's why it did not work.

Now it works on my computer.

Agreed re the typo correction reason. I just asked for a typo correction on the website through the account. More often than not, online filers will have some kind of typo to request because if they look at the PDF they'll see that the system screws up certain things, not least the addresses (cannot write present online, so for instance for my current address I had to put in my date of filing as the "TO" date for the address instead of writing present. That could be a reason for a typo request...

But yes, obviously, you would need a typo in order to ask for one :)

For the last 2 weeks, my phone won't let me copy and paste Visa Journey links too. You're not the only one. I even thought it was broken but then I was able to paste the same link on regular text. So I knew my phone isn't broken.

So here's the new trick I found to go around this phone pasting problem. Copy the VJ link you want to share. Paste it somewhere eg on regular notes or message box. Then copy it again/ cut it from there and now paste it on VJ. It will let you.

Funny thing is, on computer, copy and paste works just like normal. No extra steps. I don't know what's up with the mobile version of copy and paste VJ links. It used to work normally before 🤷🏽‍♂️

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.
