Hint!

Be sure they have the spelling, Birth date, A# correct before you leave.

They blew ours bigtime and cost us bigtime in all ways!

If you don't like the first picture they take ask for another.

It will be on your green card.

I think we hold the record for the number of Biometric appointments.

By the third time I was telling them what to do to make things right!

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

Some staff at the ASCs (application service centres, where they do the biometrics) are really good and will have you look over your information on the computer to make sure everything is correct like your A#, address, phone number, etc. Some are a lot more attentive than others as well in that they will take the time to get "good" prints and some won't (causing you to have to go back when the prints are later rejected). Hopefully you'll get a good attentive staff person!

Also this isn't across the board at every ASC, but I was told to take out my nose ring. The woman who was working one stall over kept telling me and the guy who was printing me "no facial piercings". Geesh...

And what the others said, the photo that they take WILL be on your greencard and EAD (if you applied for one). It "looked okay" when I was there but when I got my EAD... gah, it's horrible.

2007-04-23: NOA1 date (both)

2007-05-10: Biometrics appointment (both - Biometrics review)

2007-06-05: AOS interview letter date

2007-06-13: AOS interview letter received in mail

2007-07-03: EAD card production ordered

2007-07-07: EAD card received! (yay!)

2007-08-23: AOS interview (Documents / Interview review)

2007-08-23: Green card production ordered!!!

2007-08-24: Welcome notice mailed!

2007-08-27: Green card production ordered again... ?

2007-08-28: Welcome notice received!

2007-09-01: Green card received!

Done with USCIS until May 23, 2009!
