IN A STATE OF PANIC

My husbands interview is on july 25, 2007.

I am so tired and confused... about filling out form I-864 affadavit of support.I am the sponsor but am using both my parents as household members and they will each fill out I-864A (contract between household member).

I am really confused about #24.. #24a asks for my annual income. Then #24b asks for other people who's income I am using. I have to list each person, then write their income.

My parents file their taxes jointly...My father is self-employed... he writes himself a check monthly(he doesnt own the corporation, just the business, and then also there is the profit of the business... and he has income from other places (selling his real estate)...how would I write their individual income??

Would it be correct if I just write the "adjusted gross income" from the tax return and then next to it can i write JOINT...

what should I do... I need to get these papers to my husband ASAP...

Or am i just misunderstanding the whole qquestion???

Does your mother have any income to report? You don't mention anything for her, only for your father.

Exactly what I was thinking. If your father has all the income you only list him and only he prepares an I-864a. If your mother has income, subtract hers from the total to get his.
