F2a mumbai interview backlog questiom

Hi..Just wondering..All of us who are waiting for the interview at the mumbai embassy for F2a category , it seems that people with DQ january 2020 are still waiting for interviews..Which means there is a 2 year backlog for interview alone..I am wondering what do you guys think as to how the USCIS and the US mumbai embassy are going to fix this? What can or will be the solution for this? Also , am only recently DQ qualified ( in 2022).. So this means i will have to wait for almost 3 years for the interview?

This may well become the norm as movement of the requests for visas that are currently in Mumbai are done,  just as many still flood in

My opinion only is we have to get us to the new Norms that covid has produced

Very true sir..Do you think that the build back better bill, if it is passed, will do us any good? Also, do you think that once a person is DQed and if they apply for a visitor visa , will it get through? I mean waiting three years for a damn interview is ridiculous..Atleast we can be with our spouse on some visa in the US..

When my husband went for his interview he said there was around 200 people there all doing interviews for various visa types. 
The consulate sends NVC a list of how many visa files it wants for every visa category each month to fill the available visa interview slots they have available. Some months they want more of one type of visa class, it’s up to the head honchos at consulate to decide what sorta visa groups they want to interview the next month. Build back better has nothing to do with it, it’s about the amount of workers and available time slots at consulate.
