Oh - looks like I won't be needing to refresh the DHL page anymore - the package I was tracking (hopefully mine!!) has arrived at the US Embassy in London!!! WOOHOO!!! :D

Nick has been really ill for the last few days with flu like stuff...just had email from his mammy, he's developed pnuemonia and is really sick. All I want is to be there with him and for him but I can't be and it's killing me.

07/09/2007 - NOA1 (hard copy 07/11/2007)

11/13/2007 - NOA2...127days after filing (hard copy 11/17/07)

12/22/2007 - packet 3 rec. (12/28/2007 returned)

01/11/2008 - medical (allergic to tetanus shot, requirement waived)

02/05/2008 - interview @ 10am - APPROVED!!!!!!

03/12/2008 - Flying Glasgow - Dublin - Chicago - Omaha

05/31/2008 - WEDDING

AOS

07/31/2008 - AOS and EAD finally mailed

08/02/2008 - Delivered

08/08/2008 - Check cleared

08/11/2008 - NOA1's for AOS and EAD recieved (reciept date 08/07/2008)

08/16/2008 - Biometrics letter recieved

09/09/2008 - Biometrics at 1pm, Omaha

09/26/2008 - AOS transferred to CSC

09/29/2008 - AOS touched (took out envelope at CSC and put in new pile)

10/03/2008 - AOS touched (probably that RFE coming soon!!!!)

10/06/2008 - AOS touched AGAIN!!! (surely it's an RFE)

oh man, i'm so sorry to hear that!

i hope he will feel better soon! he probably wasn't used to the american germs anymore and now they got him :(

Aww debz, I'm sorry to hear about Nick! It is the worst feeling to not be able to be there to care for your man. Believe me I know how ya feel. Just trust that his mammy will take good care of him in the meantime. I hope he is feeling well soon. (F)

There are instructions on how to track your case from NVC in the NVC forum - I can't remember the link offhand as am in work but you should see it there - I think mine might be the last post in it but it is worth a read :)

@Debz - sorry to hear Nick isn't well... pneumonia seems to be common in the US... over here you jsut hear of old people getting it... :unsure:

Sorry Debz that Nick is ill. As soon as he gets antibiotics in him - he'll be good as new. Pneumonia is quite common. No worries.

I called USCIS yesterday and yes - I have a touch that is dated 1/15/08. Well, I just checked and I have another touch dated today! Is this good news? I am praying!!!!!

Yes, after having received his passport and visa yesterday, Griff booked his flight for 31st January! Just 5 days after I leave the UK!!! :dancing: He said he didn't believe he was really approved until he had the visa in hand! :lol:

Yes, after having received his passport and visa yesterday, Griff booked his flight for 31st January! Just 5 days after I leave the UK!!! :dancing: He said he didn't believe he was really approved until he had the visa in hand! :lol:

I won't believe it until i'm there around 3 weeks and it dawns on me there is no plane home!!!

Normally, I would say yes, however I will be in flight!!! OMG, I am getting sooooooo excited!!! Been 3 months since I've seen the man in person, and I can talk of nothing else!!! I am insufferable here at work!!! :lol:
