Well I have a mouthfull of novicaine. Just came back from the dentist. I'm afraid that I will bite my tongue off. Doesn't help the pain inside my heart right now. Still no letter.

Frankly I think this whole entire process is particularly cruel. Especially for folks like a-jeanne...just left hanging there without the knowlege to make it right for weeks! Jeraly, your day is nigh I believe, it's going to happen....this will NOT take forever!

I do know right now that it's actually sort of cold in Texas (the north part where I live), and my children are in Oklahoma now iced in....and all I have to keep me warm is my likkle Pomeranian...and she's barely enough to keep my big toe warm. I need some English snuggles! Peter won't be able to come visit until it's time to stay for good. sigh...i'm missing my big ol snuggly Geordieman.

We got a touch yesterday from my phone call to USCIS. but i also got a touch today. hopefully Jeraly your touch is coming tomorrow since you're right behind me. maybe even in the same stack.

Ok-- the weirdest thing just happened. I went to check my status online at USCIS, and the date had changed... instead of saying 8/14/2007 like it has since that date, it said 11/02/2007.... now, i've been checking EVERYDAY since 8/14/2007 and that's the first time it had changed. I was in shock, because it had changed, and started hyperventilating. My brother was looking over my shoulder, and suggested I print it. I did that, then refreshed the page, but got booted out of USCIS website, so had to log back in. When I logged back in, the date was back to 8/14/2007...

WHAT THE *&%$#&!?!??!?!

I am so happy I printed it, because I have proof... but... now it's back to 8/14/2007 again..... so what am I to think?!?

Has this happened to anyone else??!

They just did some maintenance to their website over the weekend, so it's possible you hit some temporary glitch. It can't hurt to give them a call and ask about it though.

Never heard of that.. Since you have the printout double check the numbers maybe you made a typo.
