NVC asked me for some W2s on October 2nd 2021. I uploaded them October 8th 2021.

Have been checking the site almost daily to see if I get any response. But no response.

Today I realized that you have to hit submit after you upload. They've been saying "uploaded" the whole time.

This is really time sensitive because I am living abroad with my wife and I have a job waiting for me in US. But they won't wait forever. I need to get back home asap basically. The Kyiv consulate has a backlog but they don't publish how long it is. And I haven't even cleared the NVC stage yet.

Is there anything I can do?

Is the RFE wait time the same as 2-3 months it took when I submitted the original documents?

Is it even worth contacting them and letting them know the docs were ready October 8th but my dumb ### didn't hit submit.

I'm somewhat venting. Have you guys run across this before? :( :( :( :(

Have you submitted? Usually I have seen when people respond to a checklist review is pretty fast. Not guaranteed. Calling them does nothing. Just hit Submit and hope for the best. You still realize your have a long wait for interview after you are DQ'd. So nothing will be fast.

I wasn't disqualified. They just asked me to submit those. Perhaps this is not a "RFE". I submitted everything and then like 2.5 months later they asked for my W2s.

Are the waits at the consulates long? They publish the waiting times for non immigrant visa's. But I haven't been able to find that information anywhere about immigrant visas. Some guy we met who was going through the process told us there was a backlog. But I don't know how reliable his information was.

Ummm that's not what DQ'd meas at NVC. It means Documentarily Qualified. When they have reviewed all your documents and accepted them you get a message you are DQ'd and put in your countries Interview Queue.
I believe the backlog is about a few months or so. Not really sure since not alot is happenig for your embassy.
