Called an Emerge Vet Hospital to get wildlife #s and they gave us the local non-emergency police # for Alexandria, VA..

they're on their way over now..

they offered to put a whole bunch of bullet holes in the wall if he wanted =) .. but my fiance said "hmm, I think the landlord might have something to say about that"

All they need is a pillow case to catch the varmin. Better yet, if there's a swimming pool, grab the net and pole used for cleaning the swimming pool. Is there someone there with a big afro? Just have them run around the apartment. The bat will probably fly right into the fro and get caught.

You can just step on a roach. Now if it were a fruit bat i guess its not dangerous unless its rabid. Even vampire bats go after little animals like mice.

Id still get a hotel room if the bat was still in the house
