Hey guys,

My wife and I have our interview next week and until last week I had one full time job and one part time, but I quit my full time job and my part time became my full time. I don't have any pay checks stating my full time income yet, should I ask my employer to sign a letter the day before the interview with the new income ? Do I need a new I-864 ? I don't want to get her approval stuck on lack of paperwork... I know people who had their process delayed months because they didn't have letters from employers or pay stubs...

I say it would depend on how your adjudicating officer would see it, but to be more prepared do bring an updated I-864 and the employment verification letter.

note that the officer requested her to submit the employment letter but at a specific time, since she was new in the job..
