Change of Address - no response before interview?

Hi all! My spouse has his final interview at the London embassy on November 09 and we are trying to change our current address (address on original DS-260 form and current address are both in Mexico so  there is no change of country). We live in Mexico currently but transferred the case to London due to British citizenship.

My problem: We have not been able to have any success in emailing the London embassy to update the current address to match the police certificate(s). The response from the embassy is to contact NVC and NVC has an auto response time of over a month (which would be after our interview date). Should we just have policy certificates issued in the old address or issue in the new address (knowing the new address won't match original DS-260)? Thank you!

Tell them at the interview. Address is not critical information to redo the DS-260.

If you have made an error when completing the DS-260 you are required to correct the error and re-transmit it if the error concerns the Background and Security questions or passport number.  Please contact us through our website as we will be required to unlock your case before you can amend the information.  If the error is in the biographic details, you may notify the consular officer on the day of your interview and take no further action

I transferred from Colombia to UK for my interview and I didn't contact anyone to tell them. I just rocked up with all my old info, told them I was living in the UK for a couple of months and that was that. Visa approved, stamped and I was sent on my way.

Try their submissions email. It's where you send documentation related to your case. I had to change mine and sent it to two separate email addresses to be on the safe side. This email is strictly for case related documents and so it shouldn't be mixed up with general enquiries. I would also bring some proof of address such as a P45 type letter or utilities bill just to be on the safe side.
