  1. Hi everyone - my husband had his CR1 interview on 08NOV and was asked to submit an additional police certificate document (state police document for Brasil, requested in addition to the federal police document). Today (09NOV), we couriered the requested document to the embassy + certified translations (following instructions) and have uploaded all docs to CEAC profile. Here are my questions: 1) does anyone have any recent experience with timelines to process + return passport after successfully couriering request documents? We are staying in London for this process but live in Mexico + I'm very pregnant so the window to travel home is closing in late November 2) in case the case does get 'stuck' for several weeks/months, what is the process to get back my partner's passport so we can return to Mexico for the birth? Is that even allowed? I also tried 3x joining the UK Spouses facebook group mentioned on this forum but no one has approved my request yet. Thanks for the help!
  2. Closing this topic out. We emailed the LON embassy and they re-opened the DS-260 to update the address. Never even came up in the interview.
  3. Hi all! My spouse has his final interview at the London embassy on November 09 and we are trying to change our current address (address on original DS-260 form and current address are both in Mexico so there is no change of country). We live in Mexico currently but transferred the case to London due to British citizenship. My problem: We have not been able to have any success in emailing the London embassy to update the current address to match the police certificate(s). The response from the embassy is to contact NVC and NVC has an auto response time of over a month (which would be after our interview date). Should we just have policy certificates issued in the old address or issue in the new address (knowing the new address won't match original DS-260)? Thank you!
