Hey everybody.

So I had my interview today for a K-1 Visa. Everything went alright, super kind and at the end of the interview they said my visa was approved. Of course as soon as I could I called my fiancée and told her we were getting married and celebrated.

BUT, 2 hours later I received an email saying "Following your interview, it was determined that your case requires additional processing" with a microsoft word file with the title "Supplemental questions for visa applicants". I looked it up and it shows up as form DS-5535. I answered everything to the best of my knowledge and replied the email with the file attached.

Should I be scared they changed their mind about approving our visa? I'm honestly freaking out because we were so happy about being approved and now we don't understand what's going on.

Thanks in advance.

They just need more information for some extra security checks. Could be that your name matches someone else's.

You should not be concerned. Hopefully they do it quickly and you're approved in no time.

I hope that's the case. We were so hyped and now we don't know what to do.

Thanks!
