July 2021: Fiancée got her DS-3025 (At this point, there was no covid vaccine requirement)

August 2021: Fiancée arrived.

Oct 1 2021: New covid vaccine requirement goes into effect.

October 2021: We submit i-485.

Given her medical exam at the time didn't require covid vaccination, but we will be submitting for AOS when the new vaccine rule applies, do we need I-693?

From what I understand, we do not need I-693 since her DS-3025 is recent enough and they'll look at that.

Not sure though. She's got both her covid vaccines regardless.

Thanks much!

The policy is so new, no one really knows yet. They have not changed/updated anything yet for K-1 AOS medicals. As it stands, if it is not flu season when you get the K-1 exam, then you still don't have to get it if you apply for AOS during flu season. Occasionally people get an IO that doesn't know their own policies and insists they get the flu shot or unnecessary new medical, but policy states it is not required. I have no idea if it will be the same policy for the covid vaccine, as that one is not seasonal. We shall all wait and see what happens in Oct./Nov.
