Question about AOS (SPLIT TOPIC)

What about CR1 class/type on GC ? Is it same as CR1 visa ? Mandatory 2nd interview required ? We did AOS here in the states for being undocumented.

If you did CR1 then how come you did AOS? CR1 stands for consular processing and it’s for spouses outside of the US.

As previously undocumented here, did 485 AOS through spouse. Was issued 2yr GC with CR1 on it. I thought CR1 on GC meant Conditional Resident.

Then you have to file for a replacement with an I-90 form to correct your GC. It can bring issues if left like that, especially for ROC. CR on the actual green card means “class of admission”, in other words, it relates to the visa category that was used to admit an immigrant to the US. CR1 is used for those who arrived in the US On an immigrant visa that was processed and approved at a consulate abroad.

CR6 is for those who adjusted status in the US. So you need to have that corrected.

To be clear: yes, CR means “conditional resident “. What changes is the number after it.

I think it's kind of late for that. I suppose i am gonna find out. I have 751 pending already since June 2020 and as of 4 month "we are ready to schedule your interview". Also have n400 pending since July 2021.

Then the class they assigned you on your GC was indeed a mistake. 

CR1 class of admission is for spouses of a US citizen that entered the country with an immigrant visa.

 

I guess you could bring that up during your upcoming interviews. Though it wouldn't make a difference on your process.
