Hello!

Sorry if this posted else I just couldn't find it.  applying for CR1 for my wife who is a Canadian citizen. we were DQ on 02-22-2021.  does anyone know where to find out how long its taking for the case to be transferred over to consulate (MONTREAL).

Our daughter was just born so need I need to update the ds-260, should I do it  after I receive her CBRA and US passport? I have a consulate appointment in Toronto for that next week.

Update the DS-260 with your daughter's information at the consulate in Montreal on the day of your wife's visa interview.

Based on the August updates from the Montreal CR1/IR1 tracking thread, the consulate sent out interview letters for cases DQ October 2020.  So the current wait time is around 10 months from DQ to IL.  I encourage you to join that thread and have your case added to their up-to-date tracking sheet --

Hey thank you for the advice and providing me the thread to join! I appreciate it! 10 months isn't too bad.
