NVC just changed my preferred embassy from Bogota to London. My file hadn't been sent by NVC, to my knowledge, to any embassy.

I spoke to someone on here via DM and they mentioned they did the same from Russia to the UK, and said there's was moved quite quickly. Was hoping the transfer would spur something on, but there's been no word since DQ 3-JUN or transferring 21-JUL.

hello,

i want to transfer my case from Islamabad to London. can you please guide me about the process.

Send a public inquiry here:

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html

Also email the US embassy in London:

londoninfounit@state.gov

If you're a British citizen or resident, they should respond and transfer your case.

I can only tell you how it went with mine. I believe it took about 3-4 weeks to transfer the case.

London got back to me in a couple of days and said, if I could prove I was a citizen or resident, they'd definitely take the case.

NVC were slow like they are with pretty much everything else.
