Our son filed I-130 on Dec 28, 2019 and our case was documentarily qualified on April 26, 2021.  When can we expect our IR5 visa interview at US Consulate, Mumbai

Mumbai is one of the most backlogged consulates currently. I filed for my parents in Aug, 2019 and they have a DQ date of Sept, 2020. Still waiting for an interview...

Just now I saw a video in YouTube regarding US Immigration updates as of Nov 2021.  According to video, US Consulate, Mumbai resumed all types of immigration services without any restrictions and IR5 visa priority no.is 6.  Let us hope our wait period comes down sharply.  Best of luck to all parents waiting for IR5 visa interview
