I think it was around 1,000 dh or so, and they send the results to the consulate

timeline doesn't matter.

I think it was about 100 dollars but that was almost 3 years ago and maybe it has gone up, but they are required to send the results directly to the consulate. Make sure though that your wife asks for a copy of the vaccination supplement because she may need it here again, I'm not sure with the CR1 if they do but I know we needed it for the K1 AOS and because Adnan didnt have a copy of it he had to get all the shots again. So just to be on the safe side have her ask for a copy....

My then-fiance saw Dr. Khadija. He was told to bring 1100 dh, and he spent that bit by bit for each part of the exam. He had to take a taxi to the pharmacy (I think) and there was enough in that 1100 to cover that taxi fare as well. His only other expenses were train fare, the taxi to and from the train station, and food.

By the way, he had a long, overnight train ride, didn't sleep, and didn't get around to eating breakfast before the exam. He had never had blood drawn before and promptly passed out when they stuck him. Try to sleep and eat before you go, especially if you have to travel very far.

No, I don't think it influences the tests either. Just lack of sleep + lack of food + loss of blood = unconsciousness in his case :-) I'm glad all went well for you.

Is the the blood test requires to not eat before taking it ?

No, you should not fast before the test. Sorry, I didn't explain well at all. My husband just didn't eat because he ran out of time, and when he fainted, the man who took his blood said he should have eaten. That's all I was saying -- the trip for the medical can be tiring, but my husband just said it's best to rest and eat before you go if possible.
