Like the thread title, I was shocked today to see not only that the consulate in Mexico City had received our packet from NVC, but that they had scheduled an appointment for my Fiancee just 10 days from now with no input from her. Has anyone had luck rescheduling a K1 appointment in a reasonable timeframe (i.e. before next year)? We still need police certificates for her, my bank & employer letters for I134, a new original of both our birth certificates, etc.

I strongly advise you to still attend the interview. You never know how long it’ll take to reschedule nowadays. She can attend the interview without these documents and she’ll be given a paper by the CO saying she needs to hand in the missing documents when she gets hold of them.
