Submitting the passport

We just got a notice to submit the passport.. does that mean we are done?

all they said was Please submit your passport for futher processing.

We were placed on Admin Processing in March 2007 and we rvced this notice today.

Does anyone know how long they hold the passport?

yes we are CR-1,

only u can do submit your passport via fax...

or personaly .. i just wondering when they have

interview they need to leave the passport to the CO's..

I would think that if they are requiring your passport, they should be ready to stamp it!!! Hope it is so

Liah,

Print off the email and make sure to address your husband's information on the email like his full name, DOB, and visa number you have listed on his prior documents along with the passport. Then send this back to Islamabad via courrier if he cannot personally take it back and hopefully once it arrives back at the embassy they will ajudicate it and send it back to him within a few days. Look forward to your next post of visa in hand soon.

Jarl you cannot submit your passport back via fax to the embassy. They must have the original so they can attach the visa inside it. Depending on the CO and your consulate at the time of the interview some keep your passport and then return it back to you via courrier or some will call you back at a later date and process the visa at that time.

only you can do send ur passport via courier ...

or just go to embassy and bring ur passport personaly..
