Do  you have an employment letter from that same boss?

If US-based income is high enough, should qualify you for sponsorship, otherwise you would need a co-sponsor with US-based income.

 

So, you  have a case. Just get it organized, and well-documented.

Yes I have a letter from him. Thank you so much for all the info! I wasn’t sure where to start with it. Do you think I could get your contact info or do you prefer to communicate on here?

Great.  You have a good case,  in general. Have to satisfy the extenuating circumstances requirement, if DCF  is not normally offered  in Uganda.

(Once lived in East Africa, and knew the Ambassadors in Kenya and Tanzania.)

Why this for the profile pic?  Often in movies and on TV when they show Hawaii they show this beach/view. So, instead of doing Kauai or some other locale, we decided to do here, so that whenever some show shows Hawaii and this view, we will see where we were married.

Regarding the DCF process,  here is a VJ Guide that can get you started  on understanding the general process.

It  might not be as updated or specific to what is happening in your country at this time, but it will give you some idea -
