Thanks, Lisa! Great video. We all choose to live in this great country even though through marriage we could have said goodbye. Like the song says, "and I thank my lucky stars to be living here today..." There are never too many times to remember our troops and their families and to say "Thank you."

Lifting Conditions- Nebraska Service Center

3-22-2007: Sent out I-751

3-24-2007: Received at NSC

3-27-2007: Official USCIS received date

3-30-2007: Both checks cashed and case number received

4-05-2007: NOA1 received in mail with correct case number

4-05-2007: NOA1 case number works online

4-06-2007: Received Biometrics appointment notice

4-17-2007: Biometrics Appointment and TOUCHED :)

5-02-2007: Greencard expires

Dec 2007: Received extention until Dec 2008

5-09-2008: Card production ordered!! FINALLY!!!

Naturalization!!!!

Finally getting around to N-400... Filed under 5 years of PR status

5-11-2010: Sent out N-400 - Phoenix, AZ Lockbox

5-13-2010: Received at Lockbox

5-25-2010: Checks Cashed :)

5-28-2010: NOA received but case number doesn't work

6-04-2010: Case number works online and says RFE sent 6-2-10

6-07-2010: Received letter for biometrics

6-22-2010: Biometrics appointment

7-24-2010: Received interview letter

8-26-2010: Interview-PASSED!!

Please think of our Canadian Troops as well, serving in Afghanistan.....we lost another 6 yesterday......My son is serving in the Canadian Military....so my thoughts are not far from any soldier and their families......

AOS, EAD, AP, filed on Feb 8, 2006

NOA received Feb 18, 2006

Biometrics done on Apr 21, at St. Paul office..wait some more......

Touched on April 24 and 28

email aproval for AP on May 1

email approval for EAD on May 3

received AP on May 3

received EAD in mail on May 8

start work of June 1

AOS interview in Bloomington on July 19 8am

AOS approved,passport stamped on July 19

as of Dec 10, 2006 still no greencard....waiting and waiting....USCIS says we are approved, and check back in 60 days...no idea what is happening

Dec 18, email stating welcome letter is in the mail

Dec 20, 5 emails saying they ordered production of my new card......

Dec 24...welcome to America letter in the snail mail

Dec 26...GC in hand and all is correct...

NOTE TO SELF..file to lift conditions 04/19/08

04/22/08 filed to lift conditions

05/01/08 package returned wrong form

05/05/08 re-submitted right form to california

05/09/08 cheque cashed

05/13/08 NOA

05/19/08 appointment letter for biometrics received..appointment on 05/28/08 at 11 am at USCIS St. Paul

05/28/08 took my two appointment letters and had my fingerprints done

11/13/08 touched and email stating card production ordered and will be sent to me in 30 days

11/21/08 GC in hand no mistakes expires 11/13/18

Interesting how Americans only "help" those countries who America decides need its help, no matter what.

Afganistan might have been argumented with the "threat to national security" bullshit, but Iraq? Gimme a break

It's interesting you say "Americans only "help" those countries who America decides need its help, no matter what".

If you are Croatian- YOUR own country has seen 1st hand the benefit of " Americans only helping....blah blah".......I know because I was one of those there for OJG when the fighting was going on, I saw many soldiers from America and many nations being blown up in an effort to " help" YOUR nation and the region as a whole. It truly was a case of " helping no matter what", as you say above.

As a veteran of many humanitarian missions-the longest was actually OJG (I am actually insulted YOU say this because this in one American who decided to "help-no matter what"-in YOUR part of the world..... in YOUR country.
