My husband and I are getting ready to file my Adjustment of Status , I have downloaded the forms from the USCIS , can someone  please confirm if theses are all the forms I need?

I-130  - petition for alien relative

I-130A - supplementary for spouse beneficiary

I-485 - adjustment of status

I-864 - affidavit of support

I-864 Contract between sponsor

I-765 - application for employment

I-131 - travel document application

I-693 - medical

As far as medical goes , do i need to mail that too or wait until the interview?

thanking you in advance

Yes. Those are the forms

I would mail medical form with the petition so that they  have it early.

I would also suggest you use money order as personal CC and check may have an issue and if that happens, you have lost time and back to square one

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

@NikkiR123, just wanted to mention a couple of things. First, regarding the medical (I-693), if you choose to send it with your AOS package, then USCIS must receive it no later than 60 days after the physician signs it. Make sure that you remind the physician to please use the most current form. Every now and then, they will use an outdated form and then, you end up having to redo it. To be clear, they should just download the form and not use a preprinted one that they may have in their filing cabinet. I believe we printed it for the physician.

Second, you may want to file the I-130 online first. For reasons unknown to anyone, USCIS is processing them really fast. I know of a few people who filed it online and got it approved within a month to a month and a half. Of course, you want this to be a concurrent filing. You would just print the I-130 NOA and mail it with the rest of the forms. Include a cover letter and explain that it is a concurrent filing.

If that works out, and they approve it, well, you can imagine that it must be nice to walk into your AOS interview with the I-130 already approved.

I-751 Joint Filing.

06-15-2021 - Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken.

05-26-2021 - Received NOA/extension letter. Notice date and postmarked 05-20-2021.

05-23-2021 - Received text message with Receipt #. YSC Potomac Center.

05-21-2021 - Checks cashed (processing on joint checking account)

05-07-2021 - I-751 received in Arizona.

Marriage-based AOS - Concurrent filing.

05-07-2019 - AOS Approved. Resident since date 05/07/2019.

05-06-2019 - AOS Interview

04-23-2018 - "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview"

03-16-2018 - Priority Date.

thank you so much for your input , I wasn't even aware i could file the I-130 online , I thought it had to be concurrent filing. I was thinking of waiting until i have an interview before getting my medical because of the delays in processing. I will follow your example and print the form out for the physician. thank you again

@NikkiR123, you’re welcome! Just wanted to clarify that USCIS will still consider filing the I-130 online first and the rest of the forms by mail shortly after a concurrent filing.

you can either send the medical with your other forms or bring it to the interview. (We brought it to the interview). That’s up to you.

best wishes!
