Hello all:

My partner has won the lottery. We both legally staying in the states. i'm confused about the process of the adjust the status, I'm about to finish DV 260 I have two questions here : 1. there is one question about do you want to go for " adjust status " , shall I answer yes ? 2. There is a question about vaccanation card , but she lost the card already , so how to answer this question , any negative impact ? finally what is the next step when finishing DV 260.  I checked the processing time in USCIS It says between 13 to 25 months , does this mean that we will be losing the green card chance ?

my last problem is my partner passport is still with Taxes people since March 2021 !! I don't know how to get it back. i'm fed up of calling with no answer .. pleaseeeee help

Please help us out !

Best

1. Yes

2. The answer is no but it doesn’t matter as you will get what is needed at the immigration medical

3. Processing time is different for diversity visa adjustment. They get put on faster timelines due to the deadline.

I will send you a PM, please look out for it

You refer to a “partner”. Needs to be a legal spouse for you to adjust status as a derivative.
