Hi Friends,

Under Part 3 Question 8b, it asks "I have mortgages or other debts amounting to"... Is this looking for things like student loans and credit card debt? Is it monthly bills? I'm not sure what it's really looking for. Please help. (I don't have any mortgage debt, but I have a small student loan and some medical bills I'm paying off.) Thank you.

The question is about Real Estate debt. (See the heading in bold):  Claiming a home valued at $300k that you owe $290k on will only net you $10k in the assets column. If you own no real estate then skip 8 and 9 with a N/A.

If you qualify to sponsor on your salary, then you can leave all those asset questions blank.
