The biggest trouble is this: Fitzgerrald knew that Richard Armitage was the source of the "leak" before he even seated the Grand Jury. But he couldn't go after him because he also knew that Plame wasn't covert. So he went on a fishing expedition to see what he could get. He came up with Libby on a process crime. This whole thing was a witch hunt to begin with. Bush should just pardon Libby and be done with it. To hell with what the dems want.

It doen't matter what anyone else did. This is not kindergarten and you can't excuse one's personal behavior on the basis of someone else's behavior in the past. They comprimised national security...I'd say that's almost on par with treason. It was petty, childish and caused damage over some stupid political issue. Libby et all deserve to be roasted.

Bush isn't going to pardon Libby. If he pardons Libby, then Libby can be compelled to testify: no more Fifth Amendment privileges.
