Need successful PCR test and insurance for Ukraine

I just learned that ALL foreigners entering Ukraine now need to get a successful PCR test within 72 hours of flying to Ukraine AND buy the covid-19 insurance (needs to be good for your ENTIRE stay in Ukraine) before you will be allowed into the country.  People currently in Ukraine are exempt.

I am not sure how long this requirement for a successful PCR test will last but it is not currently possible for ANY foreigner to get a PCR test in Ukraine or download Vdoma and self-isolate.

My apologies if this was already posted in this thread.

As the rules are currently stated, you need a successful PCR test within 72 hours of arrival in Ukraine.   That's the time you are at passport control showing your documents trying to enter Ukraine.  It's going to be very difficult for people who fly from places such as the US to achieve that requirement.

I just heard yesterday and have trip planned for end of May.  Hopefully it changes.  The insurance has been in place since covid started.  It’s cheap.  But the timing on a PCR test will be difficult.  Everytime I have been in the last year it’s something but always works out.    It is worth it.
