I sponsored my ex husband in 2009 for CR-1 visa and he got his 10 year GC in 2011, which expires this July AFAIK. He walked out on me in January 2013 and I have no idea where he is. At the time he left he was working a cash job so no SS quarters although he did have a legal job before while we were married. I moved to another country the following year for a job and have had no contact with him since shortly after he walked out. I filed for divorce and it was not final until April 2015. Now I am moving back to the US and wish to sponsor my current husband. We have been married since July 2015. I am wondering how will my previous petition for my ex affect my current petition. I know that if my ex is still in the US, hasn't naturalized and is still working cash jobs I am still technically responsible for him under the AoS and for the current AoS I would need to put my family size as 3 instead of 2(me and my husband). How else will this affect our case? I would like to hear about other people's experiences.

That's really the only impact.  He'll count in your household size.
