For those cases whose expedite request was approved by NVC, can you share your reasons? I plan to use my son's expiring re-entry permit on October 2021 if my case will be processed by that time. Did someone here used that as a reason for expedite process? Do you think it will be feasible? Thank you.

Please do not shop for expedite reasons.  Each person's case is unique and expedite approval or denial is based on each person's situation.

Timeline information from you would be helpful.  I assume you are going through the spouse visa process and your petition has been approved and is at NVC?  Have you submitted your AOS and IV documents?  Are you Documentarily Qualified?

You mentioned your son's re-entry permit - I assume he is a greencard holder?  I am not sure how his re-entry expiring in Oct would merit an expedite for you.  How old is your son?  Can he not travel back without you to be with his father (if he's a minor)? If he's an adult, does he have some impairment that requires your constant presence?

Alone, just his re-entry permit expiring is not a valid reason.  You would have to demonstrate how he needs to be with you.

I'm CR1 but still at USCIS. My priority date is October 2019 unfortunately my service center is in California.

Yes my son is a GC holder and 11 years old.

Thank you for your reply. I really appreciate it.
