Hi there, I figured I would add positive information I’ve inquired on on the behalf of my fiancé who lives in Australia.

I asked Sydney Embassy if there are any delays with appointments. Response below:

Public Response:   Thank you for your inquiry.

Yes we are able to schedule K1 visa applicants. There are currently many appointments available.

As this point, once the case is received in our office, we are able to schedule an appointment within 10 business days.

Thank you,

Immigrant Visa Unit
U.S. Consulate General, Sydney
(bc

Good luck to those upcoming on their NOA2s soon

This is super reassuring for when our NOA-2 comes through and things get to that state.

Almost time for the both of us! We are fortunate that the embassy is open. Very reassuring indeed.

My NOA 1 was on September 4th of last year. So needless to say that I'm starting to feel quite excited about the prospect of receiving my NOA 2 soon. Especially as the Sydney Embassy is being very productive and expedient with their progress.

I agree. I’m right behind ya. Fiancé and I are hoping to see movement into September’s within the next month.
