Is Bangkok Embassy still open for IR/CR1 interview?

Hi,

 

Just wondering if Bangkok Embassy still open for IR1 interview?

I have DQ in mid-December and wondering when should I expect to get interview schedule

Once your consulate has available slots, and after your case reaches the front of the queue at NVC, they (NVC) will schedule an interview:

 

1. Case is DQ'd by NVC.

2. Case then enters NVC queue for your consulate and waits at NVC.

3. Consulate informs NVC of available interview date for upcoming month.

4. NVC schedules interview when case reaches the front of the queue for that consulate.

5. NVC notifies person of interview date via email.

6. NVC then sends case to consulate.

After the interview is scheduled, it can take several days to several weeks for the consulate to receive the case.

From looking at the timetables on VJ it appears to me that BKK just scheduled interviews for cases that were DQ in October 2020.  I have a DQ date of Dec 4 and it looks to me that I should expect an interview letter in April for an interview that will occur in May 2021.  Give or take a bit.....

 

I expect I am only a week or so ahead of you.  I just discovered VJ and will soon post my data on the timetable so you should see my report of an interview letter based on a DQ date of Dec 4.

I just woke up to an email stating my interview date is May 20. So it appears the estimates taken from VJ data worked out pretty close.
