Be careful with pet insurance. They are rather "picky" about what they cover...I looked into it a while back and it wasn't worth it.

You know-fatty tumours are quite common in male cats...

My coonhound has some of those in his midsection area. My mom calls them his "lady lumps." :P

it could just be a lump.. don't freak out.

go to the vet, he'll do a needle aspirate to see what is in the lump, send it to the lab and then let you know

(as long as she's peeing and pooing and eating well every day and not vomitting... these are major signs of something going wrong..)

Our cat had a couple lumps on his back. Turned out to be cysts, operated and opened them up put in drainage tubes for a week or so and he was fine. Really didn't cost that much. I think it was about the same as when we took him in to be needled and neutered. He was an outdoor cat and fought alot.

JUST GROSSED ME RIGHT OUT  and I'm in healthcare,

liz, you'd know what I mean....ewwww dunno how they could send him home like that!!!!

She goes regularly but she does hurl up a hairball every other day or so. I thought that was normal though. Oh well we'll find out Friday.
