Green card interview with a pending misdemeanor court case

Hello!

My interview to adjust my status is coming up. The interview date is on 15th December. The issue is that I have a bit of a lead foot and back in August I got stopped by a state trooper for doing 90 in a 70 zone. Because I was going more than 15mph over the posted speed limit I've been charged with reckless driving which is a misdemeanour offence. My original court date was set for 7th December but as the courts are facing closures due to Covid my court date has been moved to May 2021.

So, I'm wondering if this pending court date is going to be an issue and how big of an issue if it is. Does anyone have any ideas/experience with something like this?

Thanks!

Do a deal to get it downgraded.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

In our interview today she was asked if she was convicted of any crimes. So if they ask that you are not yet convicted. 🙂 Just a thought, but im not an attorney 🙂
