I have a couple of traffic tickets one below $100 and another little over $100. I have the copies of the two tickets and proof of payments downloaded online from court. When I do N-400 online, I answer Part 12, Question 23 as 'Yes' and all other questions (24 to 28) are answered as 'No'. Then I provide details of my tickets in answer to question 29 also mentioning amount of fine and that fine was paid. At the end of N-400, it asks to upload documents of arrests from court etc. under recommended evidences. Should I upload copies of ticket and payment proof for this step even though fine amounts were well below $500. Is it recommended? Can there be any harm in providing these documents online now or should I just ignore it and take the documents during the interview only?

Another question I have is, one of the payment proofs I have (downloaded online from court) does not mention the amount of fine I paid, it just mentions ticket is paid and current balance is zero. Can there be a question from Interview Officer on this and can they ask for a proof of payment amount? I just know this was just a little above $100 as I noted how much I paid but do not have anything to show as a proof.

I submitted all the ticket citations online, and the interviewer was happy. That was my experience.

Thanks. Did you have a situation where the payment confirmation downloaded court online system just mentions that ticket was paid and no more due but did not mention the amount of fine or payment? If you did, did it come up as a question during interview? Both my tickets were from 12 years ago. I am trying to determine if I need to look for confirmation of the amount (e.g.12 years old credit card statement, though I forgot what payment method I used for payment).

In my case, I photocopied the citation ticket itself. I think that if you can't find it, then I think you can tell the officer that you couldn't find it. It should be fine as the fine is not very high.
