Hello everyone,my wife got this today but I live in Nigeria,I was expecting I-130 approval then I got this.can anyone tell me what this means please and who is going for interview.

I think this means the us citizen has an appointment here in the us. They probably have further questions on your marriage before forwarding it to the national visa center

Your case is not even at NVC stage and will be held up there till the ban on immigration from Nigeria is lifted

Immigrants will be able to apply for waivers from the restrictions. The administration has said waivers are issued to those who would experience undue hardship if denied entry into the United States, although the process has been criticized as opaque.

 

This is from the article posted above. You could apply for a waiver even though Nigeria is on the travel ban list.

Not true. NVC is held up because they are not scheduling interviews. They have Issuing Visas though.
