Hi everyone!

I met my fiancée 2 yrs ago in the US while I was a student on the F-1 Visa. We got engaged in March, submitted our petition in July and we're now awaiting NOA2.

I work full-time in my country but back in August, I was awarded a contract at a US company to be done remotely. Does anyone know if this would affect us at all especially for me as the beneficiary going through the interview process?

No, but keep in mind that until you have your work permit, you will not be able to do any work at all while in the US (including remote/online work).  Pre-covid, work authorization was taking 5-7 months.  Now it is taking much longer.

Big drawbacks to K-1 vs spousal visa.

@Jorgedig Thank you for your response! I'm glad we got that out of our minds. Yeah, we are aware of that but it's the only way for us at the moment.
