Documents for NVC

Good day to everyone!

i am desperately in need of a piece of advice concerning documents for NVC. FINALLY my daughter’s case moved to NVC after 7 years of waiting.

The question is about a Household member which is my husband. 

From what I understood we need to sign the contract between Petitioner (which is me) and A household member (which is my husband) and it will be Form I-864A. 

Should he submit I-864 , Affadavit of Support as well?

How it actually works when the husband is financially supporting the kid in terms of providing documents for NVC?

Maybe some of you have been in this situation....

any advice is highly appreciated !

Are you referring to the Affidavit of Support?

 

If yes, then you, the petitioner, fill and submit I-864.  If your income does not meet the requirements, and your husband is adding his income to yours to qualify, then he fills out and submits I-864a.

Exactly! Yes, my income does not meet the requirements. I have filled I-864 and he is doing I-864a. Thank you!
