Can I take GED tests without student visa or is it required?

Hello everyone,

Long story short I'm from Poland and I want to get my GED, although classes would be online for a couple of months to prepare me for all four subjects. Do I need a student visa to apply for online classes or is it fine to do it without student visa? I really would like to know because later on, once this whole pandemic is over I was planning on moving to the US, so I could go to college and finish my degree over there.

A visa would only be necessary for activities performed within the US. If you are physically outside the US, no visa is needed for anything.

Whether there is an institution that will provide the program entirely online to somebody abroad is something to research. I'm unaware if any provide that service, but I would not be surprised if such an institution exists.
