New card is produced but no approval update

Hi all,

I got an update on my case that "New card is being produced" on the uscis portal . However my case has never been approved. I was wondering if they just randomly want to send me a new card for no reason or is my case approved?

On July 17, 2020, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number WACXYZ, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I filed my case in September 2019 and latest response from USCIS was on March that they have received my RFE response.

Looks like congratulations are in order!  Hopefully, you'll get your new card within the next two weeks, and you won't have to WORRY about your status anymore!

Hooray!

Thank you, the status doesn't mention "Case is approved" so i wonder if there is a chance USCIS accidentally send me additional card :).  I guess chance is small and if anyone has that happened to them before.

At the stage, I will take card is being produced and let USCIS keep their approval update...lol......I am sure your case status will change soon. Someone from Feb 2020 flier got card is being produced yesterday and case status was just updated to show case approved.....

Once again, congrats
