Can petitioner accept FAFSA grant?

My husband entered on a K-1 visa about 1 year ago. He has AP/EAD approved and we are currently waiting on the AOS interview. I am a graduate student, and I have received an offer of $660 on a FAFSA grant to cover my student fees for the year. If I accept this, can my husband be rejected at his interview as a likely public charge? The deadline to accept the grant is 07/24. Thank you.

Note: We submitted his AOS packet before the "new" public charge rule was instated. Not sure if this makes a difference.

Yes, you can receive that with no issues at all
