Got an RFE today, Help!

Hi all,

 

I got an RFE (Pink) for my wife's Form I-485 today in the mail. They said to us what we were missing.

 

"My complete Federal income tax return submitted to the IRS for the most recent tax year." What forms are acceptable for this portion? Where to find this on H&R Block?

 

"Please submit a copy of the applicant's foreign birth certificate issued by the appropriate civil authority with a complete English translation." I sent a photocopy of her translated birth certificate and don't understand why this was an issue.

You can request the tax transcripts at the IRS website. 

You must send a copy of the original bc+a copy of the translation, even if you sent them already.

Somehow, the system won't let me get my transcripts online and can only do prints for some odd reason.

There are recent posts in the forum from people who experienced some trouble when trying to get tax transcripts from the IRS website and how they solved them. 

Try searching for those specific threads.
